New Production Model Release!

Classic Aero is proud to announce the release of our newest production model!

The Curtiss Wright Jr

The second Curtiss Wright Jr. sport scale prototype shown here, completes the release of the production kits. The Curtiss Wright was introduced at Toledo 2011 and the second prototype at Neat Fair 2011.
The model could qualify for a park flyer if the model was covered in one of the liter iron on coverings. Our model show here, was painted and weights 2.25 ready to fly.

The Curtiss Wright will be offered in a complete kit, short kit, and a scratch build package. All three packages contain the vacuum form parts , build manual, necessary to build the model lite. Model features a one piece wing with a two attachment screws for easy of transportation if necessary.
Two options will also be offered for those who would like to build a scale model of the Curtiss Wright Jr. One, a photo package on a CD of the full scale Curtiss Wright photographed at the Curtis's Museum and two,a laser cut three cylinder motor kit.

Production Models

We have five models in Production - our new "Curtis Wright Jr" joins our "Loening", "Aeronca K", Sikorsky S-38 and Sikorsky S-39 - available in multiple sizes. Options vary by model including Plans, Vacuum Formed Parts, Laser Cut Wood, hardware and accessories. Full Scale Documentation is available for our Sikorsky models. Pictures include construction and restoration photos showing detail rarely seen. We've added full scale documentation of the Loening, with photos showing details needed for a scale finish. Sample photos are here to see.
Our new "Laser Cut Float Kits" available in multiple sizes round out the new additions.

Prototype Models

Work continues on our Curtiss Seagull, Savoia Marchetti and Dornier Wal. Being drawn in AutoCad which will result in easier to build models.
