Introducing the "Loening"

New for Toledo 2008!

Introduction

One of our new releases for 2008, debuting at the 2008 Toledo Expo, is our new "Loening".
Available in 1/12 scale - a 45" wingspan, this amphibian is sure to attract attention.
Designed in AutoCad and laser cut; most components with interlocking parts for ease of assembly!

Our 45" wingspan model is powered by a Astroflight Brushless 05 Geared System; including a Castle Creations Phoenix 25 Controller, and a Thunderpower 3 cell 2100 Lipo battery. It is 35 1/2" long with approximately 507 square inches of wing area. And only 2 3/4 pounds flying weight!
The Loening was made in three tail configurations: 2 Army and 1 Navy. The kit includes all parts to build one of the army configurations or the navy configuration.
Available in amphibian configuration only (no landing gear), though takeoffs/landings sliding off grass are possible.
(Note the scale guidewires and cockpit detail shown in some photos is not included in the kit, but intended to show the detail that can be added.)

An IMAA legal scale version with 67.5" wingspan is being developed. Look for more information later this year!
